Messages not updating correctly

I don't know when this started, but any messages I send from my phone are not showing up on my watch ever. However, messages I send from the watch do show up on my phone. A reboot of the watch did not fix it. Is this normal behavior? I don't think it was like this at the beginning.

Mine did that out of the box and restarting my phone fixed it. Also, do not choose the "mirror my phone" setting. Do a custom one. Worked much better for me.

Thanks! Rebooting my phone did seem to fix it, but I'll change the settings from "mirror my phone" as well.

Are we meant to be able to see all messages we've sent from the iPhone on the watch? Or just the stuff sent since getting the watch? I only have the latter. Like when I enabled iMessage and that on my iPad, no historic, just new since adding the device.
