Messages on Mac and iPhone

I have tried everything and searched everywhere...

If I send a Message to someone who has an iPhone, it occassionally says "not delivered" (on my mac) and then shows up as a text message sent on my iPhone.

Why is this happening? It's new. It's been like this for two weeks but worked fine before that.

MOD NOTE

Do NOT run the Terminal command in the post that was deleted. It is malicious and will install malware on your Mac.
