Messages on Macbook has stopped syncing with iPhone

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with Messages on my mac. It seems that when both devices are on, any new messages I send are coming through on both devices as expected. However, when my Macbook is sleeping, upon the next wake it misses all the messages from my phone that have occurred in the meantime and no amount of signing out and signing in, rebooting etc will make it sync up again....

Anyone else able to shine a light on this?
