With all the "Handoff" updates and work to include multiple carriers, emails and phone numbers etc. (on iMessage for the new el cap version) there seems to have been a lot of focus on updating messages.

Strangely, or perhaps I am missing it, there is still no way to archive a message or save an entire conversation or even save all the messages to the Mac hard drive?

I know that it can be accessed somewhat in ( library<containers<com.apple.iChat<Data<library) but seems like it would a much needed feature to have a way to store / save / archive messages?

Anyone have any tips on how to save important messages / conversations? other than printing to PDF (which is what I have been doing)
