Messages slow to launch

I startup my MBP and launch Messages... Takes about 5-10 minutes before it will show up... I get the spinning beach ball in the meantime... What gives? iCloud syncing is turned on. Brand new MBP.

I also saw this yesterday and it didn't come back until I received an SMS message. Also, my messages in the cloud get out of sync and lose messages all the time from my Mac (2018 MBP as well)

Anyone figure out a fix for this...? I've signed out and back in... I've deleted certain preferences... Still takes 5-10 minutes to open... App just hangs and hangs... Shows application not responding, but it eventually comes around...

Now I'm having issues with Wallet & Apple Pay not opening in System Preferences... WTF Apple?!

Both of these issues have been fixed with the Mojave update...
