I have a couple questions coming over from a Droid Incredible.

1. I see that there's no native google app for gtalk, what are some great substitutes?

2. I'm sure this has been discussed before, but what kind of impact do apps like IM+, Beejive, and eBuddy have on the iPhone battery with push notifications? Is there a considerable difference or could you shrug it off leaving it on through the day?
