Messaging issues

Up until the other day, I was able to send text with my computer or my iPhone 6 and they worked perfectly. Never made any changes but now my computer will not send or receive the messages and my phone keeps asking me for my password which I enter and then get a pop up on the computer saying that my phone is now linked. This has been a process for about a week several times a day. Anyone have any idea?

This happens to me every once in a while, although not nearly as often as multiple times a day. I would do this:
Sign out of iCloud/iMessages/etc on both the phone and computer. Reboot. Then sign back in on your phone, then computer. Maybe somewhere your hardware IDs got messed up as they're linked to your computer/phone for iMessage security.
I did that once and hadn't had a problem since.

Thanks for the tip. I will give it a try. Worse case is I will go to the Genius bar.
