Messaging...

Not sure if this the right place for this, but I'm trying to set up my Yosemite MBP to be able to text from it... I've followed the directions as I understand them, and I have it set up on my iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1 installed and trying to activate "Text Forwarding" but I don't get the code on my MBP and I'm not getting it...

Any Ideas?

i found the solution there. you have to enable your email address to accept messages, not just your phone number. at least that worked for me and several others. yay!
