I Messed up the Apple Coverage for my Macbook Pro - Verify your date

Recently I bought a 2019 Macbook Pro from a reseller.
I think it was either a return, or maybe a Floor model from Staples.
The macbook pro seemed very new as it only had a battery cycle count of 2, but when I checked the warranty on Apple's
website it said to "Please verity your purchase date".
So I clicked on the verify purchase date, put in the purchase date and then I got some type of error.
So I went back and put in a Random date from 2019.
To my complete surprise it just took the date and accepted it.

The worse part of this is that I put in a date so that the Apple Coverage expires right away.
F*CK! I can't believe I cheated my self out of months, and months of apple coverage...
I tried phoning Apple, but they they want proof of purchase, but I really don't think they are going to accept a payment to a 3rd party seller.
I tried explaining that I was the one who choose the original date, and I did it by accident.
I Feel like I totally screwed myself over...

Sometimes, you are asked to verify the date because the Apple product has not been activated with an iCloud ID. This has happened with my iPads, iPhones, Apple TVs, and MacBooks.

Try logging in to your MacBook with your Apple ID and this may fix the date. If it doesn't automatically correct itself, you will have to contact support again, get a ticket number, and submit any documentation you have with respect to the purchase.
