Hey!

I just bought a HDMI to DP converter and connected my MBP to the Samsung 37" (LCD) with HD (but not full = 720p). Now when I connect my mac to the TV I experience that some of the outer borders are missing on 720p, and 1080p makes it cover only about 70% of the width of the TV. I was recommended to read about under- and "overscan with no results. I've tried DisplayConfigX and SwitchResX with ...no results. I read about "Clamshell Mode" with ....you guessed it, no results.

Also, when on 720p, the screen on my MBP shrinks in height. 2cm of black on top and bottom with a stretched picture.

I'm using SL 10.6.4, MBP15" (late 2009 model).
Is there any way I can solve this problem?

Thanks for reading!
