iPod touch messed up dock/summerboard

I know this has been posted and I tried to install summerboard manually, i uninstalled summerboard but it doesn't fix it, when i downloaded summerboard off their site i didnt see a dmg or app that i could drag to my itouch... not sure what i am doing wrong

uninstall summerboard again, and downloaded some programs, and openssh and messed around with some files, cant remember xD

for intel macs, is the method the same way or is there an easier method?
