I've got a major problem, i was messing around with File Sharing and the user privileges and now Me and the system dosent have access to the files and i cant boot!!

I have seen a solution for this on this forum but now i cant find it, i think i remember it using the chmod command.

I have tried booting from the Installation disk and running the disk utility and restoring my user privileges but nothing, please help!!!

For future reference:

The guide from my last post worked for me up until you are suppose to run Terminal in Mac OS X, it dident let my launch the terminal properly. But i could boot Mac OS and backup all my stuff and then i reformatted.

Lesson learned: dont mess with the File Sharing User Privileges!!
