Messenger iOS 11

I have bug or whatever is it on iOS 11 with Messenger. When i open messenger the app loading and then black screen and closed? Ii tried to reinstall/uninstall nothing.

Mine was doing this until today’s update, it seems to work good now. Did you check for updates today?

I think they horked up the back end. My iMessages to my GF (and back) changed to text messages. We had to turn iMessage off/on to fix it. Both iPhone 6 on 10.3.3.

No. I downgrade to 10.3.3.

Probably better to refer to it as Facebook Messenger

My bad. GF had the same problem with FB Messenger. It required a reinstall to finally work under 10.3.3..

I’m using iOS 11, but there was an update on the App Store for Facebook Messenger that fixed it for me on my iPhone and iPad
