The soggy side of the Pacific NW
I didn't see a thread newer than 2014, so I thought I'd start a new one.

I am looking for a fairly slim laptop bag which can be worn messenger style. I do have an old Crumpler McBain's Baby XL, which fits the bill... but there's just the one bag, while my daughter and I both want to use it. :D I love Crumpler bags - they're high quality and last forever - but unfortunately (for me, anyway) the company seems to have changed direction. I'm sure their bags are still top notch, but style-wise nothing they sell now really does what I want.

I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest, so I need something that'll keep my laptop dry - and a fold-over top flap is a plus. A bag that would just hold the laptop plus one or two books would be right about the ideal size. Plus comfortable to carry for extended periods, of course! And I'm really looking for a messenger-style bag, not a backpack.

Thank you for any guidance you can provide!
