Messenger 7 is in development. There are details here.

For those who just automatically say "use Adium". Yes, of course, I use Adium but I do look forward to an actual MSN Messenger client for OS X that will have audio and video chatting capabilities, as Version 7 will. Not to mention it will be a universal binary.

I hope adium 2 will be able to send/receive offline message, show personal message, nudge, winks, custom icons..
