Metadata Problem with Lightroom 3

Hi,

I am trying to apply metadata to a selection of 17 images but for some reason, 3 of the images won't let me add any metadata at all.

Also, when trying to export the same photos as a simpleviewer web gallery, the watermarks do not show on these same images.

Has anybody had this problem before?

To answer your direct question, nope. Are the files write-protected somehow? I'd check their permissions in Finder to see if anything obvious is going on.

The files are not protected and the permissions of all the files are the same. All the photos are from the same batch.

UPDATE:

I am able to copy % paste the metadata from another photo but cannot apply a metadata preset?

This also solves the web gallery issue.
