This is the method I've used twice now to activate my iPhone (i had my first replaced because of a battery issue). This method will give you a fully functional iPhone with FULL YouTube access and everything on the phone working other than the phone aspect. All this requires you to do is activate your iphone normally. THIS WILL COST YOU NO MONEY!!!! Here are the steps:
1. Get new iPhone and activate with ATT
2. Play with iPhone (with phone functionality) for three days.
3. On third day TAKE OUT SIM CARD!!!!
4. Call ATT Customer Service and tell them you would like to
cancel your line.
5. The very nice CS Rep will say ofcourse can i have the reason for your
cancellation. TELL THEM THE SERVICE WAS BAD EVEN IF IT WAS NOT.
6. Then the very nice CS Rep will ask you to kindly return the phone where
you bought it. Say "but what if I want to keep it?" They will say well you
paid full price for it so its yours to keep.
7. Thats it you now have a fully functional iPhone!!!
