Mic and iPod app at same time?

I am trying to use iAnalyzer to record some pink noise through my car speakers to set my eq. However, it won't let me stream the pink noise from the iPod app bluetooth to my head unit while simultaneously recording in the iAnalyzer app.

Is this particular to iAnalyzer or is it just not possible to use the mic and the iPod app at the same time?
