I searched but didn't find anything on this. So if I missed something please forgive and point me in the right direction. Thanks

Now then. Since 2.2.1 update I'm having a small problem.
Using the standard earbuds that came with my iPhone 3G, while listening to music, audiobook, whatever, I was able to click the mic button to pause playback. And then later I could click the button again to start the playback from the same position.

However now since I've updated with 2.2.1 I notice that if I pause playback it will only hold for a few moments....say 10-15 seconds, that I can then re-click it and continue playback.
But if it goes any longer, I am not able to "unpause" it. I actually have to push the home button and then slide the slider. Once I do that, i don't have to reclick the mic button as the playback will immediately start back up.

This didn't happen in 2.2 or earlier. Only since my update to 2.2.1.
Can someone else check this out as well. Am I going insane?
Just start a song and let the phone go into "sleep" mode (the song should still be playing but the screen is sleeping), then using the mic button pause the playback. Count to about 30 seconds to a minute, and then click again. Does it start playing again?
Again, this is after the screen has automatically went to sleep. Clicking the sleep button won't exhibit this problem.

Thanks guys!:apple:
