Hi all,

I have a first generation touch and need a microphone for that. I know the iPhone-style ones don't work, and that I need one that goes into the dock.

I only found this - but I feel there must be more. Do you know of any solution where I do not have to hold the iPod to my mouth when I am talking?

Thanks...
Pit

The problem with the likes of the Griffin is that it gets in the way of the earphone socket, so no good for voip, and I'm not sure it works with the 1st gen anyway.

I have used the Macalley ivoiceIII and ivoicePro. Both work well. The ivoicePro has a speaker too. These dock mics are so sensitive that you can be several feet away from the mic and still be clearly heard.

Maybe I should have been more specific (sorry). I actually want to use the iPod touch for VoIP (Fring, or something). So, ideally I want something that I can connect to the dock: either a headset, or something into which I then can plug a microphone.

Anybody seen something like that?
