Mic Sound Quality

Hey everyone,

I tried to find sample recordings on YouTube made in Voice Memo with watches (or any other app that allows it), but didn't succeed. Can anybody make a test recording and post it here somehow? That would be great!

Edit 2: if sharing is problematic, could you just post about your experience with it? Like how it compares to iPhone's built-in mic. Especially how good it is outdoors. Thanks again! Also, is there a noticeable difference between Series 3 and 4/5?

If it helps, I’ve only made 3 calls using the watch (S5) and the people on the other end all said it was far clearer (and louder) than when I use the speaker option on my XS Max - this was indoors.

I've used my series 4 and series 5 fairly regularly on short calls. The other parties report crystal clear audio and they can't tell I'm not on the phone. I also find that if I speak deliberately, Siri has no problem capturing all I say very well, even speaking fast.

Thanks for your replies! That's very good news to hear! I was thinking that the mic quality will be much worse compared to iPhone. Luckily it's not the case.
