Not sure how to get Mickey to talk on Series 2 watch?? He works fine on 1st fen upgraded with latest software? Watch is not on mute.
 
Yeah I had this problem with both the Series 0 and Series 2... just reboot the watch and Minnie/Mickey will speak again. I think it's some WatchOS 3 bug.
 
It does also have to be enabled in the settings (use the Watch app on the iPhone, it's separate from the mute function). Although I'm pretty sure it was on by default... still, double check it.
 
My Watch, Sounds & Haptics, scroll all the way to the bottom, it's called "Tap to Speak Time" and it mentions the mice underneath.
 
Found it....set to speak...not sure what's up.. Not a huge deal but it works on my 1st gen watch..
 
Had the same issues with my new series 2 but once I got home it started working.
I read some articles online and some believe that you need to connect to WiFi for the initial sounds and voices to download. Not sure how true that is but it has seemed to work for me... Good luck
 
Not sure if this is the issue, but just noticed if the watch is on silent, no speaking from the mice.
 
As of this am the rats are speaking!! Not sure why they went silent...
 
Same issue. Restarted watch and nothing. Restarted phone and it works. Was on the Gold Master Public Beta for ios 10
