Hey guys,

I bought an iphone 4 this summer and my new job is going to give me an iphone 4 also. I am going to keep my phone number so basically swap the sim card out of my phone to the new one. I am going to give my wife the "old" iphone 4, but how can she get a micro sim? Will they give me one at the att store?

Some AT&T stores have machines that have the ability to read a regular sim card and transfer the info to a micro sim. Not all stores have them, but the larger ones do. Your best course of action is to go to your local AT&T store and ask if they have that machine. If not, they might be able to direct you to a store that does have the machine. If there isn't a store in your area that has the machine, they can activate a micro sim for your wife and deactivate the regular sim card. However, contacts, etc. will have to transferred by hand.
