I've got a handful of people in an office making phone calls over VOIP. We keep getting complaints that callers can here the other phone reps in our office, so we've tried turning the mic volume down.

However, the mic volume is adjusting itself. If we set it to 20% sensitivity, and then start talking, the mic volume suddenly jumps back to 100% over a 30 second period. What the heck?

I've looked at everything in System Preferences and can't find out why it would do that. Our VOIP app is web-based and can't control anything in our system.

Any thoughts?
