The microphone in both my iPhones is acting up when doing voice dictation in text messaging, email, and what'sapp. Sometimes it cuts off after a few seconds of dictation and on one phone it no longer functions at all. The sound wave indicator also does not show activity.
The microphones do function correctly for voice memos though. This problem occurred right after a recent update on my 5 and 5s. Any solutions?
