Hey guys.

Wonder if any of you guys could help me please.

When I record audio on this microphone I can only hear the audio on my left speaker, anyway possible to change it so the microphone can run on both?

I have a Samson GTrack Microphone.

There is some buttons on the microphone 'Imput' what says 'INST/MIC' and Line, I can slide to enable whatever of these options I choose. I have another option on the other site called 'Mono' 'Stereo' and CPU. I have tried sliding these and I only can hear from one speaker again.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Typically mics are single channel devices and have to panned to two channels either in a mixer or in software if you want left and right stereo. What mixer or software are you using?

You will have to describe every stage of the signal path from mic to speaker including cables if you want help

I don't use a Mixer.

This is a USB microphone, I have no software installed for this microphone as I run on a Mac. The software what is available on CD only works on Windows based systems.

I've tried Googling for the software but couldn't find any.

I know that in Garageband, if I have my guitar plugged into the line in (guitar obviously being mono), I have to specify in GB that it is a mono input. If I leave the input set as stereo, it'll look for two signals, only find one signal and associate that to one side, leaving the other side silent. If I set the input to mono, it only finds one signal and distributes that evenly to both channels in the recording.
I dunno if any of this helps with iMovie.

Seems to be working as of now, when I'm just about to render the video I save it as 'mono' and it works in both speakers.

Thanks guys
