Hello, I am just looking for a little help with my Early 08 white Macbook. It is running 10.6 just in case you were wondering. But the problem I am having is that I can not get a microphone to work on the damn thing. I have tried 2 different microphones on it, both in through the line in and I have tried line out too and neither of them worked. When I go into system preferences and hit sounds and go to line-in it says it dosn't pick anything up. Any help here?

Drivers maybe? I suppose it would depend on what you're doing to plug it in. Does the 08 MacBook have an actual line-in jack, or is it just connected using a USB connector, or a soundboard?
