Hi all.

So...I have a microSD card inserted into my computer. The little notch is in the unlocked position and yet, it says the SD isn't writable. The last time I inserted it, it was writable but now the permissions changed. I don't know what to do. I tried verifying the disk, and it says I have to get it repaired, and when I try to repair, it won't allow me to hit the repair button. I don't really know much about the microSD other than it's 4 GB, and in the MS-DOS(FAT) format.

Here's what I see every time I verify the disk:

I really don't understand anything before 'this disk needs to be repaired.'

On a side note, I remember the SD working before I upgraded to the Mac OSX Snow Leopard system, and ever since I upgraded my mac, it won't allow me to add anything on the microSD. I don't know if that's relevant or not.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you in advance.

You need to format it, something is wrong with something, probably the file system. Just format it then it should work fine.

Sounds like the card may just have died, it happens sometimes. Does it work in phone/camera or whatever? try formatting there?
