microsoft activex data objects 2.X library and its mac compatibility

Hi,
I have to connect to database from EXCEL 2011 using macro in my mac machine.But i found missing microsoft activex data objects 2.X library in the reference panel while creating macro.

So any body please suggests which library to be installed that substitute the work of microsoft activex data objects 2.X library.Also if microsoft activex data objects 2.X library work on mac then which version of it work in mac os.

Please suggests ...I am getting hold in my project work due to this...
