In 1997 at MacWorld, Bill Gates talked about "Mac Office". And now it's "Microsoft Office for Mac".
But when they were coming up with this stuff how was it not possible that it ended up being named "Macrosoft"? Mac, as in Mac, and "rosoft" as in Microsoft, and the word "Macro" as in, "this is a big deal what we're doing here". Come on, it's brilliant wordplay!
And I may be being a bit jokey here but wtf? Surely they had many meetings talking about it, and the name never came up?
