Amazon has it on sale for $30.57 /w free shipping. I want to know how well this mouse works with Mac OS X Leopard, particularly as a media remote. If you look at the pictures, you'll see that it has volume adjustments, as well as a back and forward button. Is it possible to use this mouse as a light weight media remote? It would be nice if I can control some basic playback functions within a media program such as VLC. Is anyone using this mouse for what I am describing?

I dont know the model but I have a Microsoft (maybe 3000?) wireless mouse and it works great.
I know your asking about bluetooth but I wasnt sure if you were wondering about the compatibility between a Microsoft mouse & Mac OS.
The mouse I have has a button for web browsing pages and it does work for going back pages.

EDIT: I just tried using the 'back' button on my mouse to change songs in itunes but it didnt work. I guess its only for web browsing. The mouse your referring to might be different tho

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse - Back button

see if this helps. It worked for me.
