That is intense. It makes me wonder though...if you type in 'facebook' on a newer search engine and it brings up FaceBook.com, can older search engines say that they are being copied?
 
Okay, this article annoys me greatly.

Microsoft isn't "accusing" Google of committing some kind of attack on them ("click fraud attack"). They're just putting an ugly label on it that makes people gasp and think Google did something horribly wrong (kind of like how the U.S. government refuses to call Mubarak a dictator, because it's a term that immediately inspires sentiment).

"Click Fraud" is just deliberately clicking on something to get those results to the search engine company, which is exactly what Google said they were doing. Microsoft is just trying to make it sound worse than it is.


It's kind of how the media uses the word "hacking" so liberally.
