I am having an issue since changing to Microsoft Exchange. Sometimes emails that have been read and sometimes even replied to appear as unread and even clicking on them will not mark them as read.
The email remains read on outlook.com. The problem self resolves but synchronising the account does not correct the issue. Three clients have this issue. One on Ventura and up to date with Mail 16.0, 2 on Monterey.
Microsoft have said this isn't an issue on their end, I had found on another forum that organising by conversation and then deselecting that option resolves that issue but is there a setting that can be done to prevent this happening in the first place. I have also ran a script in terminal that reads an email after 1 second. This has not resolved the issue either. We are signed in with google and iCloud accounts too but it only happens to exchange.
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
