Microsoft Live Local.......lets try this bad boy out!

Ok, it's in BETA, and it is shiny and new, but lets test this thing out and compare it to Google Maps. Can you locate your home? I can't seem to find my place in Canada. Well, it seems to find it, but it doesn't seem to be able to show me the map. The screen is just white, or sometimes black. I'm suing Safari and FireFox 1.5

Does it work for the Americans? Does it work differently than Google Maps? I would assume that they have the same access to satellite images. I mean, how many different satellite image sources are there?

It doesn't work with Safari, so try using Firefox. The bird's eye view is really cool, but it doesn't work with all locations. The interface isn't the greatest, but I think the bird's eye view feature, which let's you look from the sky at an angle, makes up for that.

EDIT: I guess it finally loaded and I like how much more you can zoom in than google maps
