Microsoft Messenger: Mac not connecting.

I'm unable to connect to my Windows Live account. Microsoft Messenger ask me to check if I am connected to the internet and Adium says "Connection Error". Any suggestions guys?

i recently have a macbook
when i've installed msn for mac and open it.
when i log in , there appears a sign that someone add me but its everytime when i log in the same people, all the people that i ever deleted.

what can i do??
