Just got a brand new 13 macbook pro and bought a MS 3500 usb mouse.

It works fine after some tweaks but sometimes when waking up my mac from sleep, it just doesnt work. When I try to unplug and plug the usb back in, the computer gives me an error message and restarts.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

If this is a kernel panic, then deinstall the Microsoft driver software. This software causes kernel panics, and is not necessary on Mac OS X. Mac OS X has the necessary drivers.

What says the kernel panic log (via Console.app)?
