Microsoft office activation key but no CD

I bought a used MBP yesterday that had microsoft office. I reformatted the whole thing and it got deleted. The seller mailed me the activation key but how do I download the whole program?

I would download the version of Office I had the key for from any site I could find OR I would call up Microsoft and ask them to guide you on how you can re-download the product with you cd key.

Is it the 2011 version of Office? If so go here and download the trial:

https://www.microsoft.com/mac/trial

Once downloaded you can put in your key to activate it and remove the trial days restriction.
