Microsoft Office and Migration Assistan

I recently upgraded my MBP 13'' to a rMBP 15'' and I used the migration assistant. Everything seems like it migrated properly, however, when I open any Microsoft office application it asks for the serial number.

I did purchase Microsoft office but I believe I threw the disc away including the serial number.

What can I do?

I believe you are out of luck. You need that serial number or you will have to buy it again. Here is a link on How to locate your product key or obtain a new product key for Office For Mac. I know this is not what you want to hear. Not sure why you would ever want to throw the disc away though. They come in handy just for this kind of incident.
