hey guys. i just updated to thenew 12.1 patch.

i'm sure they addressed the whole expose/spaces issue but now, my office applications are all opening up in spaces 1. even though they are set to spaces 3.

i've restarted the computer, removed the applications in the spaces and put them back in. no effect.

how can you check the firmware of office? i just want to make sure i actually installed 12.1 properly.

thanks.

*EDIT only word is messing up. it stays in space 1 no matter what.

you can check the version of the Office Application via:

Open Word/Entourage/Exel/PPT etc., and within the open application go to {using Entourage as an example}

Entourage -> About Entourage

this will give you the version #.

other option is via System Profiler -> Applications -> {ApplicationName}

update has failed me. =(

the expose/spaces issue is still apparent. although, it's not as bad. it responds faster but it still occurs.
my apps jump from space to space sometimes

My understanding was that they didn't even bother to address the Spaces issue. I guess they were too busy fixing that all-important Italian keyboard bug instead :mad:
