So recently I installed my copy of Microsoft Office on a Macbook temporarily whilst my Powerbook was out of commission. Sadly because of the Licensing I couldn't actually use Office on the Macbook (said something about its already licensed and to contact MS for another license). Anyways, suffice it to say I had to uninstall Office from the Macbook.

Now I just recently realized I was supposed to use the Office removal tool which I didn't use. Instead I just dragged the MS office 2004 folder to the Trash.

Is there any chance that my CD-Key/Product ID/License information is on the Macbook and I should go back and run the removal tool? Or did moving it to the trash basically delete everything?

Thanks :)

There's some preferences that are stored in your user folder. You can run the removal tool to catch everything.
