Microsoft office over running software

hi. I hope you can help me.

I have a MacBook 2016 and a iPad Pro 2018

I have files on both that are still having the blue W on it. This is a word file.

I am not able to open the files to convert them to Apple Pages ? Is that even possible.

Basically what I want is to is get my files running through pages etc? And finally delete Microsoft office from my devices?
