I need to use Word, Excell etc.

I do not know if I should buy Microsoft Office for my Virtual PC or to buy the Mac Version of Microsoft Office.?

What works best?

The Mac version of Office is very nice. 2004 is nicer than any other version I've used, in fact, and others also seem to agree with that assessment, although the core e-mail/PIM functions of Entourage don't seem as nice as Outlook (Entourage does have some cool content management stuff that isn't in Outlook, but actually, I use Mail and ignore Entourage). The major reason you would want to use Office in VPC is if you need one of the applications that does not have a Mac version -- usually Access or Project. But otherwise, definitely Mac Office 2004.

Bear in mind office for the Mac is newer than the PC version!
Office for the PC on VPC will run like a Turkey under most systems.
Definitely go for office:mac, I have it and it's the best version of office I've used (if a little bloated for some purposes).

you should know first hand, stay away from virtual PC as much as possible. MS office for mac seems a lot more thorough and comprehensive than MS office for PC, :D
