Hey, for me to make the full switch to Mac I need to find a program that works just like Microsoft Publisher. I use it to make catalogs for some companies's websites I'm currently working on. What would be the best choice here? I need the program to export as PDF. I have the layout saved so if there's a way for me to convert it for OS X and work from there it would be good. Thanks in advance.

Pages (part of the iWork suite) is a cross between Word and Publisher, and comes with some smashing templates. If you're looking for something a little more professional, you could check out Adobe InDesign.

I don't know of any OSX programs that will read a Publisher file
Someone else might, or you may be able to Google that

Exporting to .pdf will not be a problem
For any OSX application you can choose print and the dialogue box will allow you to save to .pdf

Pages is probably your best bet as a substitute for Publisher in OSX
InDesign is pretty pricey for what you are looking for
