Who is using Microsoft Sign In to log on to Windows 10?

When I have this enabled I get random lock ups, failed log ins, and failed boots. With Local Account enabled everything is fine, but I would like to use Cortana but she only works with MS sign in.

I've been using the Microsoft logon with no problems in my Windows 10 VM's.

A virtual machine is probably the safest way to avoid issues that may be related to power management, logging in, disk management, hardware network devices. On a big complex machine like my Mac Pro I have to eliminate one by one each factor that could be causing my very random lock ups.

I switched back and forth between using MSFT sign-in and local sign-in, now using MSFT sign-in using a 4 digit PIN, no issues at all.

It appears the cause of my crashes and boot failures was Samsung Magician. It isn't 10 compatible and has caused crashes on earlier Windows versions too.
