Rumor comes and goes... are we ever have any Microsoft Surface Style iTouch Keyboard for iPad? I'm surprise we have not seen any from any aftermarket manufactures.

Would of like to see it. If they are working on one wonder if we will have to wait till the next release.

I'd look at the Belkin Qode. I think that is what I am going with.

That looks very nice. Also looks like it balances on the lap just fine, a key requirement for me. I might hold out for this one.

Right now I'm using an iPad 3 with an Apple Wireless Keyboard in an Origami case. It works well, and the full width keyboard is great, but it's a separate item to carry around. Plus it cannot be used on the lap.

So I'm debating whether to stick with that arrangement, or get a keyboard case. It would need to be as light as possible, the iPad easily removable (so I can use it bare), work on the lap, and have good key design and travel.

The Qode looks like it fits the bill nicely, and is a little cheaper than the FabricSkin.
