Hello,

I'm trying to compress the figures in my Word file. In the Word version of windows, there 's a button to compress all figures, but I can't find it in the Word for Mac. Conversion to PDF cannot be used because I need a word file.

Does someone know how to do this?

I have exchanged a lot of graphics-intensive files with WinWord users. On occasion, I use WinWord myself. I have never received a file with compressed graphics. I have never seen a command in WinWord to compress graphics.

What kind of graphics are you using and how are they compressed? Word:mac does an excellent job with embedded graphics and seems to produce much smaller files than WinWord in the hands my Windows-using colleagues. It may be that this is a moot issue with Word:mac.
