Is there anyway to avoid the automatic text break that occurs when you hit return in Microsoft Word 2008?

Even when you try to make a bulleted list, under a "heading," the return will cause a gap between the heading and a bullet.

Please help!

I'm not sure if you figured out this issue yet, but I think I may have found the solution.

Go to Format --> Style
Keep "Normal" under list of Styles selected.
Then select Modify
At the bottom where it says Format, pull down the menu and select Paragraph.
Adjust the paragraph setting how you like and click OK.
Once you return to the previous menu, checkbox the Add to template option
Click OK, and then click Apply in the Style menu.

Hope that helps.
