Microsoft Word 2008 For Mac

I'm having a problem with my Windows Program for Mac where when I paste an image or diagram into the program the image will be cut off if it is on the left side of the page. I can see the image when centered or on the right hand side of the page ,but not on the far left. Is there anyway to fix this using the Word Settings?

Virtually every version of Word on both Windows and MacOS X allows you to format your embedded graphics. Select the Format/Picture... menu item. This brings up a dialog box that gives you too many options to count.
