Just starting yesterday every time I open Word- a prompt comes up saying "The font *** is corrupt and should be removed"

You hit enter and it literally goes through all of my fonts saying this.

I am running 10.5.5. Please help!

Try the tips here:
http://word.mvps.org/Mac/CorruptFontErrors.html

It was written for Word 2004 and Tiger, but the fixes there often work in Word 2008 and Leopard.

Nadyne.

To solve this error permanently, you have to move the FontCacheTool.

Open Microsoft Office 2004 > Office > Support Files, create another folder in Support Files named 'Disabled', then drag FontCacheTool into it.

This will cure forever the evil font error.
