Microsoft Word [Downloading missing fonts...] notification

Hi, I'm constantly being bugged by Microsoft Word's (macOS, App Store version) "Downloading missing fonts..." notification. Even when opening a new blank page which defaults to Aptos, which in fact is already downloaded.

Any idea what the culprit is and how to get rid of the message? I have no idea what font Word is constantly trying to download and apparently fails at.

Install the Word pkg, it has fonts included in the app

Thanks for the advice, but I feel like I’ll be exchanging the nagging for fonts with the nagging of the Microsoft Autoupdate app. 😅

You can delete the Auto Update app.
You also could just extract the fonts from the pkg and install them.

I having the same issue. Does anyone know which fonts are missing? And where to copy the fonts to from the downloaded pkg file?
